Driving Traffic To Your Website
Driving traffic to your website has to be your main priority as it can be really exciting, but without this you are not going to start making any money.
This is the first main challenge that any new website will face and without large amounts of traffic your website will not be running at its full potential. Here are 4 hot tips that you should follow after first setting up your website:-
- Original Content - You should always have original content on your website to start with as Google will find yoru website and decide what to do with it. If it finds original content then it will work straight away in your websites favour.
- Keywords – You should always have your keywords in the title, first paragraph, last paragraph and they should also appear between 2% and 8% of the whole web page. If you do not add the keywords in then Google will not associate your website with the certain keywords and it will never rank highly. The higher you get in Google the more traffic you will receive and ultimately get more sales.
- Create Backlinks – This area is absolutley huge and I will just cover the basics of building backlinks from article marketing to 3 purchased links. If I am to put in basic terms then the more backlinks you have from authoritive websites in the same niche as you the better. Google sees every link back to your website as a vote and if these websites have high pagerank then they also pass some of this pagerank on to your website. The easiest and cheapest way I have found to build backlinks and drive traffic to your website is to write acrticles and submit them to the article directories. Google seems to favour these backlinks at the minute so I would advise using this method and seeing the results you get.
These are just a few of the ways you can start driving traffic to your website. There are so many more ways including forum commenting, blog posts, link exchanges, web 2.0 and so many more. There are too many different methods to list in one article, but if you start with the above you will be well on your way to driving traffic to your website and building your online business.
